Woodborough Hall - Gedling

I recently visited Woodborough Hall for afternoon tea and had an incredible experience. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We were seated in the orangery, which was a stunning location. The variety of teas available was impressive. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

As 12 school leaders, we were looking for a corporate venue that would allow us privacy, provide excellent catering whilst also enabling us areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding grounds. Woodborough Hall was exactly what we were looking for. From booking to leaving, every need was met with meticulous attention to detail. We were all very impressed and would highly recommend. The catering was excellent, we had pastries on arrival, coffee, tea and water throughout the day and a fabulous lunch followed by scones and afternoon tea. The conference room and IT equipment was perfect and very well prepared for us. A special mention to Abi who made sure the day was seamless, she was always on hand should we need her and nothing was too much trouble, even when we decided to move our meeting outside to the terrace because the sun was shining. A fabulous day, well done to the Woodborough Hall team, we look forward to returning.

A fabulous venue for a wedding lunch. Food was amazing and well presented. Slick service, professional, friendly and everything managed smoothly. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. This is my fourth time here now. Twice for lunch and once for afternoon tea.

We want to record our thanks to all the staff for giving us and a friend of ours a delightful experience on our first visit to Woodborough Hall, for lunch. All the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Our reserved table was in the conservatory but it was one of the few sunny days this summer and it was too hot for us. We asked if it was possible to have a table in the shade, outside and the staff quick,y arranged a table for us at the bottom of the garden in the shade of a splendid, big, old tree. Nicole served us and very cheerfully made the long treks down the garden to serve our meal. She always arrived with a smile on her face and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. She really was superb. The food, for which we thank the kitchen, was delicious The result was a lovely, relaxed meal, served in cool, quiet surroundings by the discreetly attentive Nicole. We certainly intend to return very soon for dinner, lunch, afternoon tea or morning coffee. We hope we will eventually manage to sample all four!
