Garden Of Eden - Geelong

The service was terrible. We waited 30 minutes in line just to order drinks and food. After that, it took another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive at our table, and the food trickled out between 30 to 45 minutes later. The bartender didn't even know what Southern Comfort was or which glass to serve it in. We requested a half-strength cocktail, and the staff seemed baffled by the concept; they didn't make it and simply suggested we drink half of it. Perhaps they could have lowered the alcohol content and filled the rest with the other ingredients, topped off with lemonade or soda water? The music was extremely loud, making it difficult to have any conversations. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing.

It took nearly 20 minutes just to order a drink, with more than ten people ahead of me in line. The bar staff appeared disorganized and stressed. I attempted to order a cocktail, but the bartender barely made eye contact and told me to wait a moment. After disappearing for ten minutes, she returned, stacking glasses. When I explained the situation to another staff member, he reassured me that it wouldn’t be long. However, the bartender vanished again, and at that point, I gave up and decided not to get a drink at all. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back. The concept is great, but the service was terrible.

We were a big table of 14 persons, the staff had a lovely table for us prepared as per booking. Drinks were great and food was excellent. Everyone was very pleased. Thank you staff for a excellent experience. Maybe patrons can used a app from the table to order and pay for food without leaving the table, would be great idea like little creatures does!!

We were quite disappointed with the Gin Garden. It appeared fun on social media, but in reality, it was just a few tables arranged in an unused function space. There was no atmosphere or ambiance, and we were the only customers there. It lacked any garden feel or greenery, making the setting feel very quiet and awkward. The woman working behind the bar was friendly, but she really had nothing to do except keep an eye on us for the 2.5 hours we were there. On the positive side, the food and drinks were good, but I wouldn't recommend the venue overall.

Terrible. Sounded fantastic but delivered nothing. Don't bother....
