La Guinguette De Luziers

We tried to visit this restaurant at midday, after seeing the positive reviews. We were 6 adults, 2 children and a small baby, but no table was available for 8 in the shade. One large free table had 6 seats and some free space, but we were rudely told we could not add more chairs, or move a table. We were proposed a table in the sun, but this is obviously not an option with kids at midday. Sadly we can't comment on the food, which looked great. We left and found another place just down the road.

Three of us had a truly enjoyable lunch on a shaded patio overlooking a small stream. We each had the Menu du Jour which included a great salad plate with charcuterie for starters, then we all chose the veal that included French fries and a vegetable. We finished with a dessert. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, even though they did not speak English. The final total was 15 euros per person, a great value for everything we had.

We use this restaurant very often as it is our local. This family run restaurant is beautifully situated and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The food is home cooked with generous portions. The wine prices are excellent.

Soirée entre amis avec enfants.Lieu agréable et paisible. Produits frais, prix très raisonnables, accueil agréable. Nous avons passe un bon moment.
