Fortune House - Georgetown

Fortune House is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Georgetown. It's always my first choice for a meal as soon as I arrive. They serve the best wonton soup I've ever tasted — loaded with fresh vegetables and generous portions, all in a flavorful broth.

The restaurant is spacious and well-kept. You definitely get good value for your money in terms of portion sizes. I highly recommend trying the Chinese Fried Rice with all the ingredients mixed in.

Fortune House is my to go restaurant for Chinese Food. My boyfriend and I have dinner or lunch here at least once a month. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good for couples, family and friends A must visit while in Georgetown

The quality of the food isn't the best, and the service can be slow. However, they are usually open late and on holidays, which is a plus. The burgers on display appear to have been there for quite some time.

This is probably the best Chinese food I had in Georgetown so far. When we arrived, it was pretty late, close to 8.30 p.m. The place was deserted, but people were coming for take-outs. We ordered wanton soups, fried wantons, pork with vegetables and chicken with cashew nuts. We shared some foods. They were all good. It seemed like the same guy was serving and preparing take-outs. I will have to come back some other time and explore their menu further.
