La Fontanella - Gießen

So we were there and had the expectation that we came to a cozy Italian restaurant. But the atmosphere was cold, the restaurant was nicely decorated and decorated and overall it looks very lively. Renovation would make the place good. We were the only guests. So there were some dishes on the map, but somehow you didn't have the impression of having so much choice. It is a very sweet menu. In the end, I decided to make a pizza tonno. The dough was okay, but the rest didn't go. There were huge onions on the pizza. More onions than tuna and then the cheese had to be found. I've always thought about pizza that you can't do much wrong, but I've been better informed. Conclusion: We will not visit the restaurant again!

The restaurant La Fontanella opened in August 2016 as the successor of the restaurant Small Houses The new owner is very friendly and you know that he has an idea of his subject. The food is cheap with 5,50€ to 9,50€ for a pasta dish or 5-8€ for a pizza. The La Fontanella is tasteful. You have to eat here!
