The menu (served in bar and restaurant? is pretty limited and does the trick but we did not rate it very highly although the lovely waiter tried his best! There are not that many restaurants close by (and even fewer on Sunday as also seem to close at 17.00 for those of us of an elderly disposition, unfortunately, to walk to.
Came here with couple of friends to try the menu for dinner. It was ok, but nothing special. The place is calm and clean, the service friendly. On top of the Hotel there is a rooftop, but we drank coffee indoor as it was nighlight. No views to the ocean.
We enjoyed two courses with wine and were pleasantly surprised at the cost, the food was first class and the service was good. Its a pity there weren't more people eating in the restaurant as it lacked any atmosphere whatsoever.
We made a reservation at the Amalur for a Friday lunch at 13:30 and the place was empty so the waiter suggested we move to the cafeteria across a corridor. He assured us that we could get the same food in both areas. As I was dining with my child we ordered croquetas de jamón and pizza and I ordered brochetas de solomillo . The skewers were basically pieces of simmered meat with a very strong flavoured complemented with an even stronger cheese sauce. My child´s pizzas was clearly frozen and not one of the best ones and neither were the croquetas. They charged us over 40 euros; it was a waste of money. I did not like it, would never recommend it and I will never go back. And yes, it is located in the basement. Forget about views to the sea.
Muy buen ambiente y comida, además tenía buenas opciones para celíacos
