My Thai - Gisborne

It's been years since my last visit, but the restaurant has new owners and a fresh decor since then. The food was still fantastic, perhaps even better than I remembered, although the coconut rice was overcooked and overly sweet. For dessert, the ice cream needed a drizzle of syrup, and Golden syrup would have been a better choice than maple. On a positive note, the peanut sauce was exceptional, and the roti bread was spot on. Overall, it was definitely worth the 30-minute drive!

I absolutely love the food from this restaurant! The Penang curry, roti bread, and chicken satay skewers are my favorites. The staff is incredibly friendly and always accommodating. I've been ordering from this place for years, and it never disappoints. The Thai iced coffee is also fantastic!

The golden bags are absolutely addictive, and I've yet to try a single dish that I haven't liked. The curries are flavorful, and the ingredients are always fresh. While the service might not be lightning-fast, the food never takes too long to arrive. The decor is inviting and cozy, making it a perfect spot for dining out in the winter.

Great food, everything tasted fresh and authentic!! The service was great, service staff always have a smile! And we're attentive to our table all night on a busy Saturday

I ordered take away for 1. I had the roti and peanut satay very tasty. Roti was lovely and its the perfect side for 1. I had the chefs special massamun curry for main and it is yummy. Plenty of meat which is great. Flavour is lovely. Nice thai restuarant in the local area. Worth a try.
