Calafia Cafe - Gisenyi

Great place to get a simple but good western food in Gisenyi. The sandwiches and salads are pretty good. Also expensive according to local standards, but very acceptable. The environment is also really beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

I love this place. I'm a regular. The staff is professionnal, the coffees are the best in Rwanda(in my opinion) and the food is really tasty. Perfect for a group of friends, couples, alone working or with kids. I like that it's kid-friendly (which os rare in Gisenyi) with a play ground, but not always safe om the ends of the garden(so parents keep an eye on your kids). And if i can suggest one thing, is to please think of putting some fences on the edges of the garden, where the playground is. Otherwise i totally recommend this place.

Great American style hipster food and drinks and atmosphere. If you're looking for something else it's definitely recommended. Very popular with expats and foreigners.
