Gladstone Fish Market Hot Box

Wow. What a jewel. The dough is so thin, golden and crisp that I was astonished as good it was. The fish was beautiful and flocky, yarn was massive and juicy, chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the bow is so soft and tender. The seafood box for one is a great way to taste a bit of everything. We also tried the Calamari and potato scallop and was a little disappointed as the Calamari was a bit chewing and the potato scallop was too thick, so it was a little rough in some parts. Nevertheless, the fish and chips that are amazing would still come back.

Good clean place feel safe purchasing sea food there also got a natural bug off spray mad from herbs etc. Oh and magical prawns .

Best fish chips I've had in a very long time. Fish was lovely fresh with a nice crispy batter. Both the fish chips were cooked well in clean oil. Reasonably priced, can't wait until I next visit Gladstone again, will definitely return. Highly recommend stopping here.
