Bothy - Glasgow City

Had another fantastic Sunday lunch...as always, great food and friendly staff. relaxing surroundings and tucked away from the hustle and bustle :

If you value your hard earned money .Look for good value and quality food .Best to avoid this horrible place .And they charge 12.5% device charge for the pleasure .Absolute disgrace No wonder I enjoy Spain so much where they feed you well without having to rip you off with charges .Those guys are honest .This place is poor

We ate here for dinner. It was OKAY. We started with the bread with miso and sage butter, pumpkin seed oil, and white gastrique. This was DELICIOUS. We also ordered the olives to start. These were not delicious. Lol they were very briney and just had an odd flavor. For my main, I ordered the venison loin it was pretty good! My partner ordered the ribeye steak and he didn't enjoy it. The decor is really nice and the service was great. Overall, we'll give Bothy Glasgow another shot, but we won't rush back. Note for vegans: they have a full vegan menu. Just let one of the staff know you're vegan and they'll provide the menu!

Visited with group of 13 for a celebration dinner and we were not disappointed. The private dining area has great ambience for a group this size, all seated around at one table. Service was spot on, food perfectly cooked and good wine selection. First time here but would certainly come again and recommend to others.

This restaurant was recommended to me for a family birthday, and I must say it was very disappointing. £37 for a steak that had to be sent back, and the belly pork was very poor, with soggy fat on the top which should have been crispy, just overall very disappointing and overpriced
