Írjon visszajelzéstI worked here 6 years ago and was attacked by the owner/manager one night after the work. I was 19 and had only worked there for a week. I was traumatized and became a heavier daily drug user. Now I'm sober and I have the power to speak. please do not go to this restaurant or work here. he was calculated and I know I'm not the only one.
Large Spanish restaurant with great tasting and a lot of tapas. also open on Easter Sunday, which is a big plus, considering that not many other places were open! definitely recommend!
Great service and menu. everything was delicious. sangria a must try. on valentine they gave heart form lollipop. so thoughtful and sweet gesture!
The seafood platter took way too long to come. The food was flat and tasteless. The only good thing was the sangria, but quite expensive as well. There was only one waiter doing all the jobs so the service wasn’t the best as well.
Since moving to Sydney, this has been the first good Spanish meal I’ve had, and for that I am very, very happy with Despaña. Mind you, this is quite a different experience from the Spanish restaurants I’m used to in Melbourne. Whereas the tapas bars in Melbourne tend to be on the modern and occasionally experimental side, Despaña focuses on good, simple Spanish cooking. There’s nothing ground-breaking here, but the chef (who I was lucky enough to meet clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. Combine that with the cosy ambience and wonderful service, and I think I’ve got a go-to Spanish restaurant in Sydney.
