Masa Japanese Restaurant and Take-Away

I've been going to this Japanese restaurant for years for a quick and delicious bite. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken Don which is only $8 and completely fills/satisfies me. If I'm with a few other people we usually share some gyoza's or some other sushi which ranks high above sushi any chain could produce. It's very good value. Lovely owners but perhaps a lacklustre atmosphere - the place doesn't look like much but serves every need. A small and authentic layout.The sushi are around $2.20 - $2.50 a rollTakeaway is available

Best sushi in the area and has been my staple "go to" for years. Love their sushi and fresh hand rolls - always a bit bigger than everyone else's. May they stay forever!

This restaurant is owned by a Japanese couple who love to cook simple home-style food at a bargain price. The variety includes wonderful home-made chicken or vegetable Gyoza, Udon, Soba and Don dishes. They also make, fresh for you, a variety of Sushi and Sashimi.At the front of the restaurant is the take-away section with pre-prepared Sushi or Sashimi. They have a variety of cold drinks in a self-serve refrigerator. The decor is simple and they are open Monday to Saturday from 1100AM. Prices vary from $1.30 to $12.50.We regularly go with our young children and they are always obliging to cook modified dishes.We have been going here for many years - the secret is now out!

Masa is a very casual place to eat, great for a quick lunchtime bite. We mostly get take away and rate the food as some of the best japanese food around. It is always fresh, particularly the salmon shashimi, it melts in your mouth. The staff & chef are always very accommodating with special requests. You don't go any where else.

Such a gem! Very highly recommend - hardworking duo create incredibly fresh and authentic Japanese treats.
