Islands - Glendale

First time there, the service was great and very attentive to our needs but the restaurant had a lack of several food items and drinks, was a bit disappointed as well as my family that go there regularly.

It’s ok here. Not sure if they’re short staffed, but we had to wait a while, even tho tables were free. It’s good they validate your parking, which is handy. Food is tasty, but we had to eat with plastic knives!? … in a restaurant? it was almost empty so not sure if they had to clean them all! That was a bit weird. No cherry coke for two visits. Atmosphere was lacking too. Maybe I’m being over critical but it’s not a cheap eat, and you expect the basics to be right. Especially when tipping.

Never received food or drinks. Asked waiter and manager for updates- never received (besides the beer flight the manager spilled on the table) anything and ignored completely. The crazy part is 4 families came in around the same time as us and they were served with no problem.

Wow what a incredible burger!!!!!! flavorful but not hot The truffle fries with parmesan are a great choice. Nice place to spend time with friends and enjoy the area!

This was my first time at Islands and it didn't disappoint! I got a teriyaki burger and onion rings and also tried the garlic fries. Everything was fresh and really good! I like the casual vibe it's similar to Red Robin but a lot better.
