Boomers on the Beach - Glenelg

Was advised last night place opens at 8am for breakfast went today at 8.30 and was still closed not ready yet to open so left and went elsewhere will never be back

Met interstate visitors at Glenelg and opted for lunch at Boomers and was not disappointed. Looking out to Mosley Square (with view of playground) and the beach an ideal spot to eat for all the family. Menu offered a range of dishes including all day breakfast; even able to accomodate a fussy eater. Noted that alcohol was available. No need to dress up, in fact designed so you can come an eat if you come straight out of the water. No bells and whistles here, just re-fuel for the rest of the day. The BLT was fabulous.

Stopped for a long lunch of a beautiful caesar salad with grilled chicken and bacon, lightly dressed with a perfectly poached egg on the top...made for a lovely lunch a glass of bubbles!

We thought this place was great! Friendly staff with nice food, location and good value. The $35 seafood platter advertised out the front drew us in and it was delicious. Unfortunately they had run out of the prancing pony brews but coopers is a reasonable compromise.

Boomers on the beach at Glenelg nice coffees the decor of the place eg tables and chairs are from the 60s,seating inside or outside facing the beach which is about 50 meters from the cafe.
