Írjon visszajelzéstWe also tried the cheesecake, which was priced at over $6. I anticipated a homemade cheesecake topped with strawberries or something similar, but instead, it was just a small, prepackaged dessert. Additionally, I noticed a change in their service. They used to bring the food directly to your table, which was extremely convenient when I had my kids and we were sitting outside. Now, you have to wait by the window for your order to be called. We weren't aware of this on our recent visit, so we took our number and sat outside like we had before, only to find out that our food had been sitting at the window for almost 15 minutes. On a positive note, the restaurant has a family-friendly environment.
This restaurant was fantastic! I tried the burger, but I plan to explore other options on my next visit. They serve the food in a dog bowl, which is a fun twist!
Dawg Park is a fun and stylish hot dog restaurant that boasts a friendly atmosphere and a variety of hot dog options, including both meat and plant-based alternatives. One standout item is the Chicago Vegan Dawg, a generous vegan red hot that combines flavors reminiscent of a spicy Polish sausage and a traditional Chicago hot dog—definitely a winning combination. This tasty treat is served in a specially baked, lightly toasted bun, topped with a vibrant array of condiments such as bright yellow mustard, chartreuse relish, sliced red tomatoes, chopped white onions, green sports peppers, and a sour pickle spear. If that’s not enough to satisfy your cravings, the menu also features various kinds of fried onions and potatoes. At Dawg Park, meals are served in stainless steel pet food bowls, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. Guests can enjoy milkshakes, sodas, beer, and wine while sitting in the indoor AstroTurf park, which offers both booth and table seating. For those who prefer the outdoors, there’s a patio area where both you and your dog can relax. Note that there is no table service here. Your furry friends aren’t left out either, as the dog menu includes mini beagle dogs and chicken nuggets, specially prepared for them and served in matching stainless steel bowls. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, and parking is free. Vegetarians will find several vegan hot dog options available, while kids—both young and young at heart—will find the eatery welcoming. Keep in mind that street parking is limited. The venue is designed to accommodate ADA requirements, and the chef is willing to modify entrees to accommodate dietary restrictions whenever possible.
The only reason why I came was because it was dog friendly indoors and I also saw a TikTok of it. My dog seemed to enjoy the entire time we were here. The atmosphere was set up like an indoor dog park but with seating areas. They have two chair swings which was my favorite part.I wasn't too impressed with the food. I liked the presentation it fit the theme so well but was sadly disappointed with the quality of the actual hot dog. The toppings for both hotdogs I tried was delicious but I just didn't like the taste or size of the hotdog meat itself. Spent$35.58 for a mud dog with fries, California dog with sweet potato fries, chicken dog bowl with rice, and 2 fountain drinks. The fries were overly salted and they were really conservative with the ranch when we had asked for extra which was fine because I ended up not liking the ranch it was too thick to my liking.Would I come back??? Maybe. I'd probably try something different from the menu.
The food was too good. Hot dogs and burgers, totally customizable, did I mention dog allowed? Finally a restaurant that understands.Parking is easy and definitely wheelchair accessible.Parking: Parking spots are located right in the front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to deal with.
