It is a small place, but they offer many different drinks and food. Recommend the soup. We also had cakes and coffee, very nice. Nice quiet location.
The Mair Alm is 1 1/2 hours walk from the parking lot at the end of the Traunsteinstraße and can be easily reached from there on a private road. View of the lake and the southwest of Traunstein. I can't say much about food.
Mair Alm is decorated with love, offers beautiful staff, cheap prices and a lovely disabled dog.
My second time. I came to the restaurant after hiking from Laudachsee. The beer was cold and I had a plate of cold cuts and toast. I loved the place. I'll be back when I'm here in the country.
Mary führt "ihre" Mair Alm, vulgo Moaralm ganz ganz hervorragend und liebevoll. Die Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl ist auf den Traunsee, Gmunden, Oberösterreich abgestimmt. Mary kocht sehr, sehr gut und die Moaralm ist einen Ausflug echt wert ( nur 1 Stunde vom Umkehrplatz Traunstein/Ost entfernt. Liebevolle Dekoration rund um die Alm, Tisch-Dekoration etc. lassen echtes Almgefühl aufkommen. Mary bewirtschaftet von April bis Oktober durchgehend, bei JEDEM Wetter, sogar im Februar/März wenn's passt.
