Södertuna Castle - Gnesta

Visited the summer cafe. Ok food (mostly prawns) but very expensive. The desserts were also extremely expensive and did not feel day-fresh. Stingy that coffee/tea is not included when you pay over SEK 200 for a lunch. I think they had the same menu at the cafe for several years and I thought the quality was better a couple of years ago. The staff a bit blasé. Nice castle and surroundings.

This place is amazing for lunch or dinner!! (Check opening hours on their website as they are limited). Very high quality food! Beautiful surroundings. Very grateful that this beautiful building is being so well kept and alive.

Beautiful castle but the service is below all criticism. The staff clatter with everything they can get their hands on at breakfast and are hard to get hold of when you need something. Here you feel like you are in the way of the staff most of the time. Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 3

A great wnviroment for a conference but food is boring and you could get fush the whole day. Not that good service at the tables but the bar tender was great.
