Írjon visszajelzéstGoogle told me it would be a good fit for me. The supreme pork arepa is to die for. The plantains weren't great. The dessert pupusa was good, but not what I expected. It had a lot of corn in it and a very strong corn flavor that doesn't quite fit with the coconut, pineapple, cajeta lechita flavors. Very much like a Mexican pastel de elote. The truly disappointing piece was that this place is teeny tiny. Callejón is the Spanish word for alley, and that's exactly how this spot was built; by putting a roof over an alley. While there is room for a few tables and chairs, they haven't opened their seating back up from Covid, so you have to sit outside on the sidewalk, in the wind. There's no restroom. Prices are reasonable.
The wonderful aroma is what drew us to this no frills carry out restaurant . The wonderful tasting food is what will keep me coming back!
Really excited about this place. The Colombian tamales were awesome. The pupusas were pretty good as well. The al pastor wasn't my favorite, as it was more the pork dipped in sauce, rather than spit style.... But still, all really good. Would definitely come back next time to Golden.
I've tried the carnitas burrito and shredded beef burrito and let me tell you, they were the best burritos I've had in a long time. It's a family owned business so you can tell the food is fresh and made with love. The owner Adriana is super nice and her Colombian food is amazing. If your in golden you have to stop by!
The pork and green chile pupusas are fantastic! This hidden gem in downtown Golden is a delightful find, and I'm really glad I came across it.
