The Briarwood Inn - Golden

Grossly over priced, very poor service and attention to detail. Never came back to see if we needed anything, cold potatoes, no butter for the bread.(best part of the meal).

Eating at the Briarwood the night before Halloween was a nigtmare. Our server consistenly served the wrong food and drinks to our table. Two of our diners received their meals at least 5-7 after the others. The food was not the calbier it used to be and the desserts could have easily come from the dessert case at Safeway. Overall, the dining experience was terrible. There are many restaurants in the area far superior to the Briarwood.

This restaurant caught my eye when I was planning our trip to Denver. I was able to make a reservation online the night before we wanted to go to this restaurant. It was simple to make the reservation and an easy website to navigate. When we arrived at the restaurant there was a delay while they were preparing our table since it was our honeymoon. When we were seated the table was decorated with rose petals and a beautiful card from the staff. The waiter was at our table immedately and was very knowledgable about all of the dishes and very personable and friendly. Our drinks were always full and our food was wonderful. The chef heard it was our honeymoon and sent out complimentary calimari that tasted amazing! The restaurant was beautiful and the staff wonderful! There wasn't a thing I didn't like about it and I would love to return on our next trip to Denver!
