Chef Lee Chinese - Goochland

Amazing food. I have been going to Chef Lee since it opened. Staff is very personable.

Not very good Chinese food. Fried rice lacked flavor. Chicken in General Zho's was chewy. Wish Goochland had a good Chinese restaurant

Although I would say that this place is a typical Chinese restaurant, the food we've always had there is good, the wait staff are very kind. We enjoy going there because it's easy to get into and get seated. And we also do enjoy the food.

I usually go to Chens in the west end so it was hard not to compare the two. I love me some Chens because of the quality of the meat. Chef Lee's chicken and broccoli definitely lacked it. The chicken was tough with an undesirable texture. It tasted good though, so if you're not a texture person you'll probably like it. The sweet and sour chicken was whole white meat chunks that I enjoyed, but it was a little over fried. The fried rice that comes with the meals was really good! Overall this place was ok. I might come back if I'm really craving Chinese but I definitely still would prefer to drive a little farther and get Chens.

Just a really good restaurant. The food was one of the best I have ever had. Such generous, delicious portions. Really happy we found this little gem. We live 25 miles away and we will be making the trip.
