Mikes Chippy - Gosport

I used to frequent this chip shop every Wednesday until Mike disappeared and it got new owners. The quality quickly declined, with consistently greasy and lukewarm food. However, a Madeira family took over and returned the shop to its former glory, offering great value for money. I highly recommend it.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, especially if you're a fan of seafood. The prices are also very reasonable. This is the only place I have come across that prepares dishes to order and offers skate on their menu. The portions are generous as well.

This restaurant is always bustling with activity and the food is always prepared fresh. Be prepared for a wait, or even better, call ahead to place your order.

Since my last visit the new family from Madeira have excelled and is a very busy chip shop produced good reasonably priced food. Very friendly and worth the wait. When we are over again in the UK we will definitely pay a visit.

Have been here a few times for either myself or for a group of us. Food is always hot and tasty and the service is really friendly. They are very good at giving you exactly what you ask for. I don't like many chips and they will give me less than a child's size portion which is perfect for me. Couldn't ask for better.
