We have returned now three times and also picked up take away sandwiches for walks. We love the food here, beautiful burgers, wraps. Great coffee and smoothies. Some great planet friendly products on the shelves! We need more Portersheds around town!

We ate here without knowing it is a fully vegan cafe lol. Food was so great we didn’t even realise we were missing meat in our meal. Portion was really huge. We added on chips to our mains and it was potato overload I couldn’t finish. Ordered cinnamon roll and the dough was really nice. Coffee and chai were great too. Didn’t know there are seats outdoor at the back of the cafe, they’re such a vibe. Will definitely be back again!

These guys know the perfect ingredients for a successful storming cafe. Superb food, divine coffee, sensational service and consistently friendly! If you’re new to Chch or need a new regular this place ticks every box.

Portershed is far the BEST vegan only cafe in the city ! It’s the entire experience and owner Emma and entire team make you feel like home . Food is just heavenly and with multiple daily options either from the cabinet or a la crate menu. My absolute favourite is Jackfruit Sammie and Tofu Nuggets Panini , but if I’m really hungry Quarter-pounder vegan burger is good choice. On the top of that coffee is delicious and the blend they use is perfect ! I promise if you try it once you will not have enough and aways go back just as we do!

OMG the best vegan food I ever had! Even though I am not a vegan nor vegetarian, their food is absolutely amazing! Great coffee too (and the aroma from the coconut milk). Will definitely go back again. Highly recommended!!
