I am so glad that I stumbled in this place because the service was friendly, the cake was nice and humid and delicious (not excessively sweet or rich, simply perfect). Besides, the cake came with candles and a serving knife. Surpassed every expectation!! I can't thank you enough for making this birthday special.
So delicious! Buyed: Buttercream bread almond tart chocolate chip cookies (the actual name of them forgot, but they 're right in front of the register) marble cake buttercream bread tasted like it was made fresh, not too much butter cream, not too little. I took a bite and gave something to my friend. When I turned around another bite, his face was covered with butter cream and he looked like he was caught to eat the rest of himself. I think it's safe to say he loved it! Almonds The crust looked hard, but it was so easy to chew in them, was almost like bread. All right! Marblecake I still have to try it (we update) chocolate chip cookies we went cheers in the car as soon as we get out to try it at the same time and it was so good!! Very soft, broken in your mouth and then melted. As a person who is not a fan of too much chocolate, I don't appreciate the little pieces overwhelming me. I thought I'd go back to buy more, but they'll just let me come back for more, though I live closer to the city. All in all, it was definitely worth the ride back! I drove here yesterday to see it was closed. It's okay, it was my mistake not to check the hours before I left my house. I was just so excited, and for good reason!
Best bakery for tasty treats and sweet desserts that will impress your friends. Try everything. You won't be disappointed.
Love this little bakery! It has delicious and fresh breads and baked goods. They're the only place in STL we've seen that makes Asian-style sandwich bread and it's freshly sliced every day after 2:30pm (so so good! . We come often for their pretty birthday cakes as well. 100% recommend
The lady at the register is always really nice. They have really interesting baked goods that are baked fresh every day. The 1 star off is for the fact that it has become really hard to get sandwich bread. I arrived when they opened and they said they didn't have any and wouldn't have any until mid afternoon. I came back around 5 since I had other things to do and they were sold out. The bread is baked fresh every day and from what I understand it takes about 4 hours to do a loaf. I hope that some day they make a habit of making more loaves OR starting their baking process way earlier so that they're ready when the doors open. It sucks to think you may have to plan your entire afternoon around trying to snag an elusive bread loaf, haha.
