El Maguey Mexican - Grain Valley

Had 2 tostadas. They were mushy. The chicken was good. The churros were over cooked, hard. Our server was friendly.

Food was hot, tasty and delicious. Service was good.

Pretty disappointed. Usually a go to for quick and consistent service. Not this visit. Waited for 5 minutes for someone to seat us although several employees made eye contact and walked by including the person that finally sat us. The salsa tasted like tomato soup. Inattentive server. I don't think I'll be going back to this location.

Minus 1 star bc the chips are too thick always taste bitter like the oil used to fry chips hasn't been changed out. Otherwise its ok Mexican.

Food and service was good. Had the taco and enchilada and rice. Good lunch specials 7.99. Can't beat that. Atmosphere was nice. Restaurant was very clean. Will go back.
