Big E Steakhouse Saloon

The server was excellent, keeping our drinks filled and checking on us multiple times. He was also very friendly. However, the food was disappointing. In particular, the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken tasted like rubbery fake chicken and was not even warm. The squash and zucchini were bland and unappetizing. The jalapeño poppers were fresh and hot, but the salmon was also not warm and lacked flavor. Overall, we felt that the prices were too high for the quality of the food. While the atmosphere was inviting for drinks, we would not return for the food. We agreed that fast food chains like McDonald's or Wendy's would have been a better choice.

This burger was the worst I've ever had. It was dry and tasteless. The fries were overcooked and dry. The bun fell apart after just the second bite. The price was way too high for the poor quality of the burger.

Despite the great food and service from Armando, there was one server who seemed more interested in chatting with other staff and eating rather than serving customers. She even served the table next to us while eating. If I were the owner, I would consider sending in a secret shopper to identify and address the underperforming and disruptive staff. Additionally, when I called ahead to ask if a reservation was needed, the woman on the other line simply said no and abruptly hung up. When I called back to inquire if she had hung up on me, it felt like it was the same woman who was chatting and eating. After looking at reviews of nearby restaurants, I decided to give Big E a try and I'm glad I did. The food was top-notch, but it's important to hope for a good server. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite impressive.

The food was tasty, but the standout was the excellent service! It can be hard to find a good place to eat in this area, but out of all the options we've sampled, this one has been the top choice. If you're ordering vegetables, make sure to ask for them to be cooked a bit longer.

Their website advertises that they have music and a magician while you're eating dinner. I chose this place for a steak dinner and the entertainment. Once we arrived we ordered dinner and was wondering when the entertainment began as there was an empty stage. Our waiter informed us that there use to be entertainment there years ago and they just hadn't updated their website. Huge disappointment and frankly lazy management that can't manage to update their website. On another note,the service was fine,ambiance was cute and the food was okay. The petite Sirloin steak was cooked well, the baked potato came with butter and sour cream on the side without chives, and the cheesy pasta was okay. No rolls or any kind of bread was included. It was basically overpriced and mediocre. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
