K2 Pizzeria - Grand Haven

The waitress and manager were rude for us because my wife ordered a drink, but had lost her license and had a temporary paper license. even if she is in old, she was not allowed to order a drink, which is good, we respected her decision, so she became the designated driver for our group, but then she came back to our opposite to see if she would drink from my drink. the manager was rude to my wife about the situation and made us feel ostracized. we felt so unwilling and haunted that we went without eating and went to eat in portable over the street, they actually have good food and neat service. I never come to this place again.

Mixed feelings about this place. To start, the table and chairs were wet and it took a good 5 minutes before someone showed up. Ordered cheesy bread and when we got it, it was barely warm. Although they did take the bread off our bill. The pizzas came and were hot and tasted OK. Everything took a long time but they did seem understaffed.

The pizzas are good, the drinks are inexpensive. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, but the servers generally don't check up on you. I prefer it that way, but some people might not. The only real complaint I have is that the tables outside are metal, so in the summer it's unbearably hot to the touch and there is just a ton of glare on your eyes.

Here?s the bad: The pizza If I was just reviewing the pizza, it would be 2-3 stars. Honestly the best comparison is Speedway gas station pizza. I still like it, but it isn?t worth the price. Also, my wife and I try a margherita pizza everywhere we go and K2?s is probably the worst we?ve had. One more thing, I would recommend to the owners that they invest in better audio speakers. Now here?s the good: K2 is legitimately a very cool venue. I absolutely love it. The staff seemed happy and like they actually enjoyed their jobs which definitely gives a good atmosphere. Overall, while the pizza is subpar, it?s still a fun place to go to, especially with friends.
