Pizza Hut - Grand Haven

Burnt cheese, their so called poppers were actually chunks of mozzarella sticks that instead of being on the crust were down in the sauce area and hardly any pepperoni. Yuck! Not impressed. We won't be back.

I can't say I've been a very big pizza hut fan since they did away with their thick and chewy sweet thick crust in the late 70's. However, the place is Grand Haven, does a decent job and I've never been disappointed. A minor complaint is I sometimes especially with specials like to order 3-4 times mushrooms and they just have lite, regular and extra. I don't even know what the extra means is that double or just a bit more? The specials they have make it work for me, I have the trouble most single people have at some point when we want a pizza, most places assume its' a party for more than one person. I hate specials that require 2 pizzas to get the good price, one would go to waste. They should consider the single person every now and then. My last pizza here was a half price pizza large with three toppings, I like the marinara sauce they make, it has the slight sweetness, and the crust flavors they now use are pretty good as well. I've not experienced some of the bad tastes I've gotten from places like Dominoes that make me think the meat has goon bad. At least in GH, the pizza hut here is pretty good, and the specials make it worth the price over some of the close by alternatives at near twice the price.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but it made me. This place was absolutely disgusting! We came in to something that looked like a frat house with dirty dishes everywhere! They literally cleaned dishes off of 1 table just so we could sit down. We had a party of 8 and they tried to sqeeze us into 1 booth so we split up and thank goodness the table by the booth was clean. We sat down for not even 2 minutes and felt so dirty we had to leave. The staff looked raggedy and messy looking. We felt like we needed to shower after we left. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!

I've been getting takeout from here for the past year or two and I must say they've been very consistent on the good side.

Yeah, I agree-I think this place could have some major improvments (staff and service) but I'm a **** and still ask for the 10 dollar special. Now, they're 10 dollar daily is only if you eat in...either way, still a great price and oh yeah, I don't tip so I save even more!
