Hurricane Hole - Grand Isle

Last year we've been here a lot. The restaurant fills up quickly so we try to get there when it opens by five. The food is excellent. We tried the majority of the menu and had no bad experience. The hotel is very nice and they have provided everything for our stay. Staff throughout the company are very nice and extremely helpful. The pool is great, and there is plenty of room for guests. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful saltwater pool and the owner is just awesome. It’s got a full restaurant, a separate sports bar, a hotel and a marina. A great place. The owners and staff are all extremely knowledgeable in the local fishing and entertainment scene. They are more than happy to engage you in pleasant conversation and can direct you in the local culture or put you on good fishing advice for the time of year. Highly recommended.

Overall a positive experience staying there. The marina, pool and back pier by the bay are really nice. If you trailer a boat there, there's gravel parking across the street for your trailer. I'd recommend that the hotel install curtains to block the lighting from the exterior walkway. The bedroom is very bright at night from the walk way lights. I would definitely stay there again. The bar and live music were great!

A MUST stop if you're coming to Grand Isle! This is the BEST place to eat on the island! The food is fresh and absolutely awesome! There is balcony seating to enjoy the sunset while you eat. 5+ stars hands down!!
