My daughter and I split the barbecue sampler platter. We did not like the rib tips and the brisket was OK but the pulled pork and the pulled chicken was really really good. We will definitely come back to try some of the other food.
This is a barbeque focused/distilled liqueur pub. The cheapest entree item is probably the BBQ Loaded Baked Potato at $10. It's more than enough for a meal. There is a kid's menu and they've been really great with our kid the few times we've been here. The fare here is on the heavier side with generous portions so if you're ravenous for some smoked BBQ you'll want to take a seat. They offer a variety of spirit based drinks that have never failed us. They have a variety of flavored liqueurs made in house, of which you can order a flight in order to sample. Most tables serve at max around six people so if you have a crowd call ahead to warn them. The dining area is not massive but you can move comfortably around it.
I'm a vegetarian and can't attest to all the menu items. (By the way, the servers have been so great explaining the menu and checking every item. If you have questions ask! They are patient and knowledgeable) But what I do eat, every time I go is amazing! I love the spinach artichoke dip and the jalapeño cornbread. Both are made with fresh ingredients. This is my go-to place for drinks and an appetizer.
The drinks are good, they constantly have a a rotation of interesting drinksThey have 3 types of moonshine and rum. They also have flavored moonshine (we like the blueberry). On top of that the food is excellent! Our favorite spinach artichoke dip of all places is here. They have a lot of other interesting options like a fusion slaw, deviled egg Potato salad. And the jalapeño cornbread is amazing!
Traveling from out of town, we wanted to visit some local establishments to enjoy while visiting the area for the Tulip Time festival in Holland. After our late lunch/early dinner at another restaurant on Friday evening, we stopped in to check out the offerings at Michigan Moonshine. Wow! What great and friendly service! We were very impressed with the moonshine tastings and we had no idea what a wonderful food menu the place had! Since we already had a decent sized meal before visiting, we did try an appetizer: the bbq rib ends. Amazing! The sauce really hit its mark. Enjoying the atmosphere and tasting, we took our time conversing with other patrons and staff. I did try the rye whiskey old fashioned and it did not disappoint! Well made and very flavorful. Regretting that we did not eat dinner here, we tried a side of their deviled egg potato salad and slaw. They hit it out of the park with both! We did purchase a few bottles to take home since we do not live in the area. When we are back in town, we will definitely visit again! I highly recommend!
