Hilltop Tavern - Granton

The owners were fantastic and even opened their motel for us to stay at. The food was quite good too!

The food here is fantastic! I highly recommend the Friday fish fry, which costs between $9.50 and $12.50 ( prices may vary slightly). You get a generous portion of squid fillet (up to four pieces), instead of a small cod. You can choose your side of potatoes, and I personally love the waffle fries. The restaurant also serves some of the best unseasoned roasted breadsticks around. They offer a salad or a salad bar, although the salad bar is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. The owner is an elderly gentleman who runs the restaurant with his wife. If you're looking for great food and friendly service, I believe this place is definitely worth a visit!

This is a fantastic spot to bring a friend! It has a welcoming atmosphere and affordable drinks. The bartender is excellent, and there are fun activities like a raffle, pool tables, and slot machines. Definitely worth a visit!
