Your Chocolate Card - Granville

A staff member at this location scolded me because my mask was on but it wasn’t over the “tip of my news” before I was allowed to order. Probably a better way to deal with a FULLY COMPLIANT customer. That was just rude and belittling, and oh yea now order your coffee. Love the coffee but wow, I’ve never been treated that way and have been coming to this location for years. This was a major turn off and will probably be a while before I return. Everyone’s dealing with changes with the pandemic but there’s definitely a way to talk to your customers when they’re trying to follow all your guidelines. I was with a family member who made a comment about the rude staff member, so I’m sure this review was warranted. Visited around 4 on 1/23/2021.

My husband and I stopped here for the first time in December. We were visiting Granville and thought it would be nice to have a treat. I am not much of a coffee drinker but wanted to try something new. The staff was friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about their drinks. .I thoroughly enjoyed the drink they recommended, and it turned out just the way they said it would. My husband does not drink coffee, but had a hot chocolate that was very good. The house is very cozy with lots of different rooms to sit and enjoy the drinks. We will be back!

Delicious coffee and baked goods served in a delightful old building with lots of different rooms Indoors and out,, some large and conducive to groups, others more Intimate. Rotating artists display their work here.

Familiar variety of coffee and tea drinks along with a selection of fresh baked goods. The atmosphere is relaxing and there is plenty of room for sitting and chatting and enjoy local art.

Well prepared and tasty River Mocha with caramel and Mocha latte. Cranberry nut muffins were the highlight of the visit. Friendly baristas and very pleasant seating in small rooms give it a homey atmosphere. Highly recommended.
