Írjon visszajelzéstSince the removal of the buffet, prices at this restaurant have increased and the food is now served cold. This used to be a popular gathering place in Grayson, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined. It is disappointing to write this review as I have gotten to know the staff at China House over the years. The food is now stored on the counter in the middle of the restaurant, leading to cold dishes. If you are late picking up your food, it will not be warm. The buffet was a major draw for us, but now we only visit once a month, if that. Many of us now prefer to drive to Ashland to dine at Super China Buffet instead.
After a full day of driving, I stumbled upon this restaurant on Google maps. They only offer takeout, no dining rooms available.
The food quality is declining at this restaurant. I started with the egg drop soup and it was not good. Service is average. The meal was a takeout dinner, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Food received a rating of 2, service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.
Food is edible, portions are subpar for price considering the quality of food. Ordered a quart of noodles, chicken, rice, sushi, etc for 50$. Chicken was good, but the rice and noodles were very bland. It’s not a bad place but I doubt I’ll order here again. This restaurant only offers takeout options. The entrance has been converted into an enclosed counter, resembling a money exchange box. I noticed a strange smell upon entering, but I believe it can be easily remedied with a thorough cleaning. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, which I found slightly saltier than I am accustomed to, but still enjoyable. The dish only contained green peas and carrots as vegetables, with no onions or bamboo shoots.
