Mrs Wright's Pastys (pasties)

Great traditional beef and potato pastys. Had a delicious lunch on the deck as we passed through town today.

I was very disappointed. I love pasties and really like local businesses but the beef pasties were a little bland and cold when I got them. I'm not sure why I was sold cold food. It was around 3:30pm so it's not like I stopped in as they were closing. I'll probably try them again in the future because it seems my experience was and outlier.

Mrs. Wright’s Pasties is a simple yet charming place. I opted to sit outside, and it was quite pleasant, though the dining area is small. The mother-daughter duo running the place truly makes it special. I had the opportunity to chat with both of them, and they were warm and passionate about their business. They offered a variety of pasty options, including a breakfast pasty, but I chose the classic with brown gravy. It was excellent! I enjoyed it so much that I bought some frozen pasties to take with me for later. I hope the business continues to thrive; it's a fun and unique concept that brings back wonderful memories for someone like me, an old Montana boy.

We wanted to try something new, so we stopped here and everyone ordered a pasty. They were delicious—filling and satisfying! The service was friendly, too. However, there weren’t any seats inside; only a picnic table outside.

The pasties were awful and quite heavy! There’s nothing quite like a good one, but it seems no one here knows how to make the authentic version!
