The Holmgren Way - Green Bay

We had a nice time at this restaurant. Our waitress was excellent, once we were finally able to get one to our table. The atmosphere was quite loud and lively, but it was relatively clean. The food was typical bar fare—nothing extraordinary. I imagine this place is great for events. While I can't say I'm eager to return, our overall experience during our first visit was positive.

I give the food 5 stars—absolutely outstanding! The atmosphere gets a solid 4 stars. It was a typical Saturday evening and surprisingly calm... perhaps a bit too quiet for my taste.

I visited this restaurant after a Packers game with my 8 and 9-year-old kids. Our server, Mey, was outstanding—she made sure our drinks were always full, and the timing of the food was spot on. I highly recommend this place if you're in town for a game with kids aged 8 to 17. Plus, the pizza was surprisingly good!

The food was okay. I asked for a chicken sandwich, no bread with cheese, bacon, salad and tomatoes upstairs. No bacon, no cheese. It was hardly warm with my fries. And I paid extra for fried in gluten-free frit. Some goodbye. You never get pommes and they only have where not so great. The outside seating area was very nice. Clean and friendly staff.

Extremely disappointed in the service tonight, the worst I've had in some time. My past 2 visits I've had a great bartender, a tall male with brown hair. Tonight, arriving at 7:48 pm, my guest and I sat outside. I cleaned off the table we sat at, brought glasses to the bar. No one approached us for 10 minutes. I went inside to grab us beers while waiting, they approached me like I was an inconvenience. After pouring me 2 beers, I asked whether I should put a food order in at the bar or on the patio and the bartender said a server would be over. The bartender then told a female server and pointed at me, then the server made a snarky comment (the server who looked like they just rolled out of bed with pink crocs on, being a health code). After being pointed out by the bartender the server completely ignored us, she proceeded to wait on two tables right next to us for 10 more minutes while we watched other tables being greeted. Since the service was poor outside, we moved to the bar and it didn't get any better. While sitting and waiting patiently at the bar for 20 more minutes, of the two female bartenders not a single one approached us, even to ask if we wanted food. They only asked 40 minutes into our whole terrible visit when my beer was done and I was happy to leave due to the extremely disappointing service.
