Pollo Cabana - Greenbelt

I ordered a steak, chicken, and shrimp meal for $36.00 and drove almost 20 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived, there was only one sauce in the bag, and the cashier insisted on charging me for an additional sauce, even for a $36 order. Once I got on the highway, I realized there was no chicken in the order. I called back, and the same cashier insisted that the chicken was included. I turned around on the highway, only to find out that there was, in fact, no chicken. What a waste of time!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was an unexpected find while I was shopping nearby. The delicious aroma caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I can't remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it was noodles with steak and vegetables. I added the green and yellow sauces, which really elevated the flavor—definitely a game changer! I even brought some home for my sister, and she loved it too! We both agreed that we've been to many Peruvian restaurants before, but this one stood out.

I can't get enough of this restaurant! The chicken is simply amazing. The service is incredibly fast, and the food is consistently delicious. The portion sizes are just right! You have to try the homemade yellow and green sauce; I promise you'll find yourself coming back every week!

Pollo Cabana was a revelation in a strip mall. I like Peruvian food- but this was one of my favourite meals, ever. The bite of the ceviche was perfectly balanced by the sweet potato and two kinds of corn, a salty, roasted variety and Cuzco (sp? corn, a softer, almost exploded variety. The chicken was spiced perfectly; my husband was quietly content. The extra sauces add a little extra zing if you wish. And I indulged in the dulche de leche cake. Words fail. Worth every

I ordered the steak, shrimp and chicken dinner. I asked them to cook the steak medium. The steak was so hard I couldn't even chew it , the shrimp was small and mushy and to make matters even worse it kept me in the restroom for hours. Oh yeah and I paid $68.00 for two dinners and a piece of cake. I threw the other dinner in the trash and the cake. It was suppose to be a surprise for my husband for his dinner. I'm glad I ate before he came home and it only made me sick and
