Country Pride - Greencastle

Walked out! 17$ for one omelet. $8.95 for a fountain drink and a cup of tea. Awful how they take advantage of our truck drivers with no where else to park and eat. ZERO stars

Breakfast was first class. Wait staff were very nice. The seats, floor and tables were very dated( old, dingey, floor was in need of a good steam cleaning.

I was part of The God Bless America motorcycriders and I was a little disappointed that there were only two waitress to provide service to this large crowd. The two waitress did what they could, but it was way insufficient staff for folks wanting to eat before the ride. One area was not even made available for seating or service. I understand in today's society that many Do Not want to work, but there are some that do. Let's get people hired so the stress is not placed on your employees. It was very apparent this was the case on Sunday, because some of the staff was very short tempered with Customers asking for their food. There were many customers who walked out of the Restaurant because of the lack of Service.

This is a negative 5 star review Spend 20 dollars on one meal for dried out chicken tenders and what looks like a half order of tater tots and no bread even tho that's what's advertised in the pictures displayed in the restaurant. Was told the menu has changed when I asked about it and literally told by the employee if I have a problem with it complain to a manager she don't care. Country pride has permanently lost my business. Such a shame because this use to be a good place to eat why traveling the country and wanting some down home food. Just look at the portions of food I spent my money on and look for yourself at the advertisement in the store as well with a picture of a nice plate of food with good portions and bread. False advertisement at its finest. The food was 16 but I added a tip as I always do because that's how a waitress makes a living and I tipped before even getting my food something I guess I shouldn't have done because I was not treated with respect or decency. With tip I spent over 20 dollars for horrible service and small portions of old dried out food.

Nice waiting staff. No problems there. The food however was,...to be blunt, awful..and the prices were crazy enough as well. I know it's in a truck stop but I've had better gas station food. The waitress was really kind so I did not take it out on her and tipped her generously anyway. Definitely don't recommend eating here.
