This place is not good. drop into the liqueur next door to pick up drinks and my friends, and I thought we could get fish and chips. They usually go elsewhere and gave captn en a jump. no good decision. really terrible...Fish and chips that tasted very hard burned, seemed to be too long in the frittier. too late when we came home. my friends wanted to bring that back. we fucked it and went to cicerellos. what a difference!

The service is great though sometimes without emotion, this is by no means bad but still. The chips are some of the best you 'll get at a fish and chip shop but on top of that the serving sizes... My god the serving sizes are...huge! I hadn 't been there a while and though $5 of chips is usually enough for 5 people thinking back to all the other fish an chip shops around, forgetting that this was Kaptain Kods. All five of us overfilled ourselfs and only just got over half of the chips eaten, it 's the best value for money you 'd ever get. Other menu items I 'm yet to really try but everyone I 've talked to has said anything they have is served with as much quality as quantity.

I really hope they had only a very bad day, but as the proverb says, they only have a chance to make a first impression. looking for a fast and easy Friday night food I thought that fish and chips would make a good change...I ordered a fish and chips for one and serve the tweeper rings that came to $17.50, so not cheap I seriously think I was overloaded. the preparation time was acceptable, but at the arrival to house was the food edible, but nothing special with a very floury piece of fish, undercooked tweeper rings and chips with hardly salt or taste, at the end my animals enjoyed the meal immens while I made with a cuppa soup.

Good fish and chips. Fish has always been cooked well and it is the real deal when it comes to type. I have always enjoyed it from a local family run business.
