Nick was our server and he is the epitome of what the job should look like. Nick is warm, friendly, and made great recommendations for what to try on the menu. Nick was attentive without being overbearing. If you ever stop in to HT BBQ, ask for Nick. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the sauces...chef's kiss to the entire staff!

The food was delicious, however the attitude of the server was ridiculous. The man server with glasses wearing a hat, look tan but was white, with black hair, working on Nov 21, around 3 pm was by far the worst waiter I had in years. First of all where is the southern hospitality. He was rude, and acted like he didn’t want to be here. It’s not my fault you are working. He never smiled, and when he took our payment he had attitude, and when I said thank you he ignored us, and rolled his eyes and walked away. This place is too good to be hiring some imbeciles. Please do better and correct this man because others experienced the same service today. Food was Superb though.

Ordered pickup. The Brisket nachos, absolutely disgusting. And why are the greens overly sweet? How much sugar do you put in collard greens? The brisket platter, there was more fat than meet. Over all experience very mid and over priced for the quality of food. Needless to say won’t be coming back.

Good smoky taste on pulled pork and turkey. Nice portions and 2 happy ladies that were well fed. Nice sauce tray as well.

What a spectacular restaurant with incredible bbq! We were watching Food Paradise last night and they highlighted this place (but there Charleston location) and when some time opened up for us today, we decided to go there for lunch because it looked so good. And it was!We started with the queso dip with spiced chips that was absolutely delicious with the queso, brisket, and peppers that went well with the homemade spiced chips.I had the brisket platter with mac cheese, hash rice, Hawaiian roll, and housemade pickles onions and my hubby had a brisket and a smoked pork taco and it was all so tasty. The meat just melted and the hash rice was a fab mixture of brisket bbq rice that was perfect. I saved enough from mine to take for lunch.Though we were full, we shared a banana pudding that had a cute presentation and was so good with homemade pudding and whipped cream paired with bananas and nilla wafers.Definitely will be going back!!!!
