First timer it was good fries with cheese, fried pickles and a green chili burger right kind of night. Then a jalapeño pineapple margarita must try. My first time I'll be back soon definitely.
Tim, the PHENOMENONAL bartender makes THE BEST Spicy Jalepeno Margaritas and Spicy **** Mary's! His very own creations!!! Great vibe! Fun people! Thursday nights are the best!!!
Service was great. Liz was a great server. the snufferita drink was good. the oil used in the fries was old or something. the hamburger meat used in the nachos was old too. we went on a Saturday around noon. I wish the food had been fresher.
After sitting with a friend for 20 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged at all, and another friend who had been sitting there waiting for almost half an hour just to pay, we walked out. The service system needs a massive make over or this restaurant will not survive. 1. Self seating only works in tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurants that only have 3-5 tables. Larger places with big tables need hosts or servers seat them at tables appropriate to the party size. 2. Train your Servers! Don't let them wander about! Servers need to have a layout plan: what tables are they manage, what part of the service are the customers in of their experience. Effective flow systems gets customers in, served, billed, paid, and out the door so the process can repeat. Time is money. 3. Having a host/ or hostess at the register can keep people from being ignored or walking out without paying. Having a register unmanned in the open is also not smart. If your business provided a service to it's customers, I'm pretty sure you expect to be paid for the work you did. The inside of the building has a great atmosphere and has potential, but if the service system doesn't fix the flow system on the dining floor, this restaurant will not survive.
