Gabriele's Italian Steakhouse

I've been here a bunch of times... I've never been wowed, but rarely been disappointed. The bill is always higher than I expect it to be though... I do miss the old host with the quiz questions, but if you are looking for that NY Steakhouse experience in CT, this is the place to go. Just don't expect a suburban discount. I'm still giving it four stars because it's good.

Went to Gabrieles with my girlfriend for our anniversary as recommended by a friend. Not 1 complaint. From the second we got there everything was great, including the friendliness of the valet attendant. Our server, Emily, was attentive, super friendly and overall a great waitress. I was a server for years so I am always very observant of how restaurants are run and the servers work ethic. Emily was down to earth, honest, accommodating and it almost felt like we were friends with her rather than she was waiting on us. 10/10 for Emily. We ordered the seafood tower, (in which she accommodated us by adding more oysters in replacement of the clams) the porter house for 2, mac and cheese and spinach. All were amazing. She even suggested we wrap up the bone for our dog. For dessert we had the key lime pie and an espresso martini. Both great. Would return to Gabriele's without hesitation based on both the food and the service.

We visited this restaurant for a Father's Day dinner with our family, including several young children. The atmosphere is a comfortable yet upscale steakhouse, and the service was exceptionally attentive. They offer an extensive wine list that complements the meal perfectly. Two adults in our group ordered the 48 oz porterhouse to share, and it was so generous that they couldn’t finish it! A few of us also tried the rack of lamb, which was excellent. Overall, it’s a fantastic steakhouse for special occasions. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend paying a visit!

The atmosphere was absolutely stunning! The service was exceptional, and I had an unforgettable time. The New Year's Eve party was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food service is excellent, but it's quite pricey! They also have a great selection of wines. I would definitely visit again.
