Charleys Cheesesteaks - Greenwood

I recently visited the Greenwood location of Charlie's and was very disappointed. This is usually one of my favorite places to eat, but when I arrived, I was not greeted. That wasn't a big deal, but then when I asked about the ingredients on my cheesesteak, I was only given a box without a bag. When I asked about condiments, I was told they were not included in the box.

On black Friday, and they were very busy. service was quick, taken into consideration, but the wobble could have been cooked a little longer for the cheese steak.

I saw pictures of their ultimate fries and decided to try them. Do not order them, as they were undercooked and overly greasy. Also, they overcharged for everything without considering the customer experience. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

After my first visit to this restaurant, I have to say that I was not impressed with their customer service. The checkout/kitchen staff charged us a la carte for all items, which added up to nearly $40 for just two people. When I questioned why we weren't informed about a different option, I was told it was due to a mistake in our order. It seems like there may be some miscommunication or incompetence among the staff. The sandwich was bland and the fries were soggy and unappetizing. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed.

This was our first time here as we were looking for a new sandwhich shop to try. We got a Philly cheesesteak and a Buffalo chicken sqndwhich with fries for both. Take this first part with a grain of salt because we ordered it through DoorDash but the bread on the Philly cheesesteak came so wet that it was falling apart. This may have been due to the container causing the heat to make the bread soggy during transport so that probably isn't their fault. Also to the point of DoorDash, there was no option to take items off or make items less i.e. Buffalo chicken sandwhich remove the mayo/light on the mayo. We hoped the mayo was just on the side so we wouldn't have to use it but the sandwhich came doused in it making the person who ordered it not want to even try it. The Philly cheesesteak sandwhich was a huge disappointment. The first bite I took seemed to have no flavor at all. I tried a second bite but it was more of the same. I then took some of the meat out and ate it by itself. Again, no taste. It seemed as if there had been no seasoning put on the meat at all. I am not some cheesesteak aficionado or expert by any means but any ones I have tried elsewhere always had some sort of seasoning. The fries were also soggy and devoid of any seasoning. We may try this place again if we can stop in instead of delivery but the seasoning issue is almost one we can't overlook.
