This is my favorite lunch spot! Howard and all of the servers are so nice and the food is consistently great! Their breakfast is good too and they usually have live music by the bar in the evening! Great go-to at any time. Parking: There are plenty of parking spots by the fountain Kid-friendliness: The servers are always so sweet to my girls! We stopped at Howard's on our way to Abbeville. We ordered at the counter and were told to seat ourselves. The restaurant had only high tables with stools. i am very short and have had spinal surgeries and found this difficult. Our food came out quickly. Portions were huge. My husband ordered the shrimp platter and said it was delicious. My burger was very large and was delicious but I could not finish it. The fries were extremely greasy. I took my napkin and tried to blot some of the grease off. The serving of fries would have been enough for two or three people. Once seated no one checked back to see if we needed anything even though there were several people behind the bar.. Probably will not return.
