Sissy's Cafe - Gregory

Burrito was large with plenty of pork filling. Sissy’s special enchilada chicken filling was good and tender, needed spice.Burger and fish sandwich were ok, onion rings nothing special. Not all sides come with the sandwiches without extra charge, read the menu carefully. Place was bright, clean and busy. Service was good.

Such great food and coffee! Loving the cheesecake. A really unexpected and pleasant surprise to run across this place while passing through.

Four of us and three had the usual burger lunch. They loved it. I had the roast beef special. A little to much for the tummy.

Sissy's was closed when we walked in; staff were mopping, cleaning and putting ingredients away.Even so, the crew kindly reopened for two travellers who'd just traversed a rugged, 120-mile terrain with little or no dining opportunities.We both had Issac's Favorite: slow-cooked shredded beef with beans an cheese rolled in a flour tortilla then smothered in homemade red enchilada sauce under melted cheese.And we weren't just fed by Arturo's cooking, no we were richly rewarded and completely re-invigorated with this smooth and smoky concoction. There was nothing left on our plates.A week later, we agree that this meal may be The Best we've had in 10 years and 14 states of backroad wandering.
