Jake Rip's - Grenada

Today, I ordered a garden salad with speck, but unfortunately, the salad was unwashed. I brought it to the waitress's attention, explaining that I couldn't finish it because it was dirty. I even showed her the uneaten bits still left on my plate. She mentioned she needed to discuss it with her husband since I had eaten most of it. The manager then insisted that the salad was fine. When I spoke to the waitress again, she said they can’t inspect every salad individually. I stressed that the salad was dirty and that I had to spit out some of it into my napkin. I’ve decided I won’t be returning, as this experience was quite unpleasant. To top it off, I still had to pay for the salad I couldn’t eat.

When I brought this to the waitress's attention, I couldn’t finish the salad and showed her the uneaten lettuce on my plate. She mentioned she needed to talk to her manager because I had eaten most of it. The manager claimed the lettuce was simply bruised. I explained that it was actually dirty and inedible, as I had to spit some of it out into my napkin. In the end, I was left frustrated and had to pay for a salad I couldn't eat. I certainly won't be returning to this restaurant again.
