We showed up at 11:30, had lunch when the locals came and took their usual seats. It's worth taking off I-40.
That was the BEST restaurant where we've ever eaten during the trip. The food was AMAZING. Customer service was excellent... so friendly. We were sad they closed at 2:00 and we missed eating here on the way home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!
Had a lovely home-town-feel experience. Ate a bacon mushroom swiss burger with fries, chicken strips with fries and a side salad, and yummy cherry cobbler. Delicious burger beef and gooey melted cheese. Cobbler was A1!! Larry and Karen and their staff were all a pleasure to interact with
My husband and I absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere has a charming, hometown feel reminiscent of Mayberry. The prices are very reasonable, and if you leave feeling hungry, something must be amiss! If I lived in Groom, I would definitely eat here at least twice a week. We highly recommend the grill, and don't forget to sign the register at checkout. People from the city will surely enjoy it too!
Great food and friendly staff! The breakfast was just what I needed—definitely a must-visit and conveniently located just off I-40.
