Kroger Bakery - Grosse Ile

I had a really bad experience today. The conveyor belt was dirty, the cashier was rude, and the card machine was malfunctioning, so I had to pay in cash!

This store is always clean and consistently has all my favorite items in stock! The staff goes above and beyond to help me every time I visit. For instance, today I had my two young children with me, and a staff member kindly took my cart to my car in freezing temperatures so I could manage my kids. They even gave my two-year-old a balloon, which made him so happy! Grosse Ile Kroger is the best! A big thank you to all the helpful employees who make my shopping trips enjoyable!

The staff here is fantastic! I had such a great experience that I will definitely be coming back. This was my first visit!

Terrible customer service in bakery. Doughnut case dirty and items are dry and bland.

This Kroger store is the best! I usually leave the grocery shopping to my husband because in my area the stores tend to be crowded messy and swarming with sketchy creepy people. I generally end up leaving grocery stores anxiety ridden and empty handed. I happened to stop at this location as I was leaving an appointment on the island and I'm glad I did. The vibe was much nicer at this location being on Grosse ile, the employees and customers in the store were friendly, and it was clean and stocked with fresh produce and a very impressive health food section. They had everything I needed on my list. I would go out of my way to grocery shop at this Kroger as I felt like it was a good experience overall!
