The Rib Line - Grover Beach

This place has gotten multiple try's from me and each time I haven't written a review because I feel like they were trying up until now. Went in took 35-45 minutes for artichoke mind you there was no other customers. Got it to go because my fiancé had already finished his drink and we were over hanging around. Did not include any of the dipping sauce it normally comes with and then there was a worm in it and more than one. Really disgusting I would give zero stars if possible and I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm very pregnant and was served food with worms and the only people eating here are going to be unknowing tourists because the locals have watched the service and quality of food steadily worsen. Oh also they said we could only have a refund if we drive all the way back there and bring the food. Awful establishment.

It was way too loud in here for me and a bunch on old people in there 60s and 70s dancing here. That is why it was loud maybe. We waited for ten minutes to be helped after the bartender told us where we needed to wait to order. A high school student came out with a delivery and I told him the situation and he told another employee and they both walked outside. Won't be coming back here even with the renovations that have been done to this place.

This was our first time at Rib Line since it 's new makeover! It looks completely different from the last time we checked it out. I would say it kind of has hotel vibes with the new color scheme and decor. We went for a comedy show, which turned out to be hilarious. The food was good, nothing to complain or boast about average American food. The service was great Seemed to be a majority of younger/teen staff, all very kind. One thing we were surprised about is they no longer have a full bar, it 's is now only beer and wine, and rather expensive at that as well. Also food wise their Mac n cheese... BOMB! 10/10!!!!

I love this very local place. The food is good basic bbq and the atmosphere is chill . I often drop in just for a drink in the evening and to pick up a nice take home dinner. I love the Beach Balls! The prices are right, the staff is extremely friendly. It just feels right for a local bar grill.

To the Business Owner, I was able to remember your phone message since I had to call so many times about our $85 door dash delivery that showed up as a tri-tip sandwich and although I generally like hearing a nice thank you for supporting your family and staff, it was more like a stab in the back hearing it over and over again as no one on your staff was truthful about what was going on with our food and I was hung up on multiple times. If employees messed up and the food is not coming 1) do not repeat the order back to me and say it will be there in 30 mins 2) tell me when I call back in 45 mins to report the food has still not arrived that the driver is in route and to hold so you can see how far they might be and then hang up 3) have yet a third person finally say the food is actually not coming 20 mins before close and yet again hang up on me with no resolution and no apology. I called door dash and got a refund, but this is not the real issue here. We were left at a campsite, I'm 8 months pregnant with a 4 year old in tow at 9pm on a Sunday night without the food we ordered at 6:30pm. I'm not sure if there is adult supervision onsite, but I've been in the service industry as a manager for over 20 years and have never had an experience this outrageous. Being behind the scenes in bars and restaurants for as long as I have, I tend to take negative reviews with a grain of salt, but seeing that you've had so many lately, I wanted to be sure I wrote one as well so folks know what they are getting into before placing an order. To the potential patrons, I do not normally take the time to write reviews. This is real. Take this into consideration before ordering from this place. I hope if you choose to continue this does not happen to you, but if it does i'm joining the other folks who were trying to give a fair warning! Good luck!
