Great food, organic ingredients, very nice ambience. Beautiful surroundings. I recommend this restaurant.

This is a wonderful restourant it is great for familly expecialy in winter I was only until the restourant but judjing of him I think the hotel will be extrodinary.

I often come to Gruenwald to visit my family there and always look forward to eating at the age of Wirt. This visit came with my husband on his first trip to Germany. We had a great dinner with Alter Wirt, and later in the week my mother held her birthday party in a private room there. The staff is professional, personable scream after Tiffany! The menu options are local and in the season. Excellent wine selection. It'll be back. I never had the pleasure of staying at the hotel, but other friends / relatives have, and they give Alter Wirt accommodation high brands.

We had extensive meetings over several days here at the hotel. Due to the length of the sessions, we became very familiar with nearly all aspects of the hotel. I found it to be unique among the hotels I 've been at. The food, and all of the other segments of the experience are totally organic or to use the catchword, bio . It was certainly different. Water was served mit blubb or still. In each glass was a package of bio sugar pills that tasted like Sweet Tarts. It was certainly interesting. The staff was WONDERFUL. I didn 't know where to go for the first meeting, and I was shown to the room personally. Truly, this was exceptional quality and service. We had breaks, coffees and lunches as well as one dinner. The food was definitely organic, but very tasty. Hopefully, it will add a bit to my lifespan! There were other very interesting points. The bathroom facilities were really works of art. In the men 's room, there was a wash basin that looked like it should be IN an art museum. It was huge, and the water flow reminded me of Bavarian brooks in the nearby forest. As you know, Grünwald means green forest . The building was right next to a bakery which served fresh zeitbrot . It was of very high quality. There was a biergarten with very comfortable chairs, and Augustiner products were featured. This is a great place, Bauhaus in essence with the interesting blend of a full bio experience. It 's not inexpensive, but it is quality. As it is so often true, the people of the place make the experience. My congratulations to all of the staff from the restaurants, the front desk and in the room areas. You made these days a positive and very memorable experience. I look forward to my return.
