Finca Salamanca - Gueimar

Besides having your breakfast here, which is pretty fine, the dinners we had here were delicious. Since you have to drag yourself via car to anything else, the convenience and the quality right at your footsteps is well worth your .

My wife and I had dinner here last night. She had the scallop to start and the Salmon loin for mains. She liked the scallop although it had a lot of white sauce for only one scallop. Salmon was cooked well, as were the vegetables. I had the excellent potato croquettes (light, creamy and formed into perfect orbs) to start and the pork loin for main, which was very slightly overdone, and quite large compared to the amount of vegetables (pictured). Sauteed potatoes were cooked perfectly, as were the rest of the seasonal vegetables. These two courses with a bottle of sparkling water came to €45, including service. The restaurant was full by the time wed sat down at around 7pm, so probably best to book if on a weekend as the hotel guests probably eat here regularly. Good if not totally spectacular food, but lovely old world feeling in a very rustic and old building, which felt like a classic Mediterranean banquet hall.

We are staying at the hotel and have eaten here 3 times both dinners were very good The food is good but it lacks variety for lunch as it’s way too rich for day time and there is no where to get a sandwich and a cup of tea . We asked if we could just have a sandwich and were told to drive into town great customer service

Very good establishment installed in an old tabaquera. surrounded by plantations, woods and very well maintained. is a hotel with swimming pool and parking. very quiet surrounded by nature. eat very well...menu a de qualidad. very effective staff smiling and pleasant without too formalism what I love. very well presented and varied dishes, with flowers, herbs, light and original, duck, salmon, albondigas. hear to choose from. homemade desserts to complete and various wines to choose from. a good solution through the valley of guimar with beautiful views for the coast than to the top of the valley. better get out of the rations season to really enjoy such charms and the rural serenity that has this small paradise full of fruit and cactus. in the quiet pleine.
