Koalas Fine Food - Guerneville

Our food took 54 minutes because they forgot to make the soup. They said it was because the cook was new, but after 15 or 20 minutes if it's not ready you should give the customer the option to cancel the items that are holding everything up. I've been here in the past and the food was ready quickly. I'm so disappointed and probably won't be going back.

Great place Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and tasty food. We love the vegan ramen, teriyaki tofu veggies, and the veggie combo sushi roll! Recommended!

I personally did not like this place. We dined in their patio, and the food came in styrofoam boxes. The server explained they were still under Covid restrictions. I'm fine with eating out of a take out box, but I wasn't ok w the styrofoam nor the food being room temperature. The food was mediocre at best. My bf and I both ordered a bento box. The teriyaki sauce appeared more to be soy sauce and the tempura was fried in old oil; the CA roll was ok. Very disappointed. Only positive was the friendly server.

They told us food would take 20-30 min. It took about 1hr 10 min. I feel appreciation for how hard they were working. But being told one thing and then it take 2-3 times as long is not cool. And then the food was awful. The works teriyaki salmon I have ever had. Way too much sauce, and the fish has a bad taste and texture and way over cooked.

First time in Gurnville, this was the only walking distance asian place that served noodles from where I stayed. So we tried it, it's mediocre. High priced for that low quality, I see the attempt. Service was fine, my friend was using a spoon that she didn't realize after a while that there was a price tag sticker in the back of the spoon that had start peeling off from eating her soup. It was just alright, there's nothing else around, you get what you get when there's no other competition around a little town.
